Sony has added two more PCs to its existing lineup of VIAO: a laptop N30 and a desktop LA 3. Both sport great features, but there are some low downs. The laptop has a carbon fiber frame, 15.4-inch WXGA display, Intel’s GMA 950 graphics, Intel Core 2 Duo T5500/T7400 processor, 2 GB RAM, 120 GB shock-mounted HDD, Dual-layer DVD burner, 802.11b/g, integrated Webcam fingerprint scanner and optional HSDPA via ExpressCard. The laptop comes bundled with loads of software, Vista Premium and Office 2007 as well.The Desktop on the other hand has flaunts style pretty bold. It has a 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5600 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 320 GB HDD, NVIDIA’s GeForce Go 7600 graphics, 19-inch WSXGA+ display, 802.11a/b/g and Vista Premium OS.

Both systems accept customizations right up to most of the configuration. They are expected to hit international markets in May. The laptop can put you back anywhere close to $1,213 – $1,347 (Rs. 50,000 – Rs. 57,000) while as for the desktop $2,696 (Rs. 1, 13, 232).

Sony are giving us more editions to the VAIO family and these are the ones that look the nuts, with elegance and versatility of the Sony VAIO N30 series and the stunning style of the LA3 we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The new Sony N30 laptop will be equipped with carbon fibre casing which really looks good plus with a 15.4-inch WXGA display and 120GB shock-mounted hard drive with dual-layer DVD burner, 802.11b/g seem to be making a great start but then what about the Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 or T7400 processor, 2GB of RAM to boost the performance (thought you would like that). The Sony VAIO N30 laptops will also have the Intel GMA 950 graphics set and Windows Vista Premium is installed, an integrated webcam fingerprint scanner and optional HSDPA via ExpressCard.

Right that was the laptop and yes we know we are a laptop site but thought you should know about the new Sony LA3 desktop PC, we personally love laptops that’s why we are here but you cannot count out the new Sony LA3 PC with its sleeks slim fashionable looks which come on is stylish and on the inside is not too bad either with the 1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5600 processor plus, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics card, 802.11a/b/g, 19-inch WSXGA+ LCD, 2GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive.

While details surrounding sony,s sz series leaked long ago, the firm is now busting out two new machines in its VAIO lineup that we’ve yet to witness. Of course, both systems are customizable to the hilt, but the April-bound VGN-N31M/W and VGN-N31Z/W will run you €899 ($1,213) and €999 ($1,347) respectively for the basics, while the base VGC-LA3 will ring up for €1,999 ($2,696) when it lands in May.
